evaluate the substrate:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The substrate should be at field capacity, which means that when you squeeze a handful, it should hold together and only release a few drops of water.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If too much water comes out, it is too wet. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If no water comes out and the substrate does not hold together in your hand, it is too
